After impressing the pants off of everyone in Uncut Gems Adam Sandler returns to his Bobby Boucher/Canteen Boy roots with a tale about an overly vigilant small-town simpleton in Salem named Hubie DuBois. He takes the mocking and general abuse of the townsfolk in stride but when the halloween horror turns real, only Hubie can save the town. Maya Rudolph, Steve Buscemi, Kenan Thompson, Ray Liotta, and Tim Meadows, all make appearances. Look for Hubie Halloween on Netflix October 7th.
