When it comes to the iconic Lamborghini Countach, there never really was a bad version at all. This is probably why a poster of the Countach adorned the bedroom walls of many a kid in the 1980s. It’s curvy in all the right places, sexy, and was extremely powerful in its heyday. It’s also somewhat of a rarity. Very few were made — almost 2000 in total, but only 610 of the 5000 QV vehicles ever left the factory. This is one of them.
One of the most impressive things about the Countach 5000 QV is the exhaust note that emanates from the V12 engine. It is a 5.2L 12-cylinder engine with a quadruple camshaft design giving it a tone depth and complexity that you can hear from six blocks away.
This is a one-owner Countach up for auction and for authenticity, a copy of the original purchase invoice from 1989 is included with the sale, along with work invoices and a Lamborghini service and warranty book. And at only 40,473 kilometers on the odometer, this classic vehicle has quite a bit of life left in it.
