Arc’Teryx Vertex Shoe

Count on Arc’Teryx to troubleshoot every problem-in-the-making during Alpine runs, before pouring that know-how into this very technical Vertex Shoe. Developed for a variety of terrain, from soft meadows to rough and patchy trails, the TPU rock plate works with a welded (yes, welded) support system on the upper. That, and the lugged outsole, give grip without taking half of the rocky trails with you.

Most trail shoes have a middle or low drop to push and cushion your heel to land first, which is great for comfort and foot health, but not for keeping debris out. Arc’Teryx’s answer? The Vertex is equipped with an integrated knit collar that looks pretty superhero-esque on your ankles. Cleverly, the moisture-managing interior combined with the breathable recycled polyester upper makes this tech-forward shoe a year-rounder as well.
