1982 Lamborghini Countach LP400 S Series II

Published By

Four years after the LP400 Periscopio was introduced in 1978, Lamborghini decided to give the Countach a fresh update, and so the LP400 S was born. The LP400 S had three different series of cars, with the first two series being the most desirable among collectors, commonly referred to as “low-body” examples. The Series II Countach LP400 S, produced with only 105 examples, is recognizable by its smooth telephone-dial wheels and low stance.

The Countach is undeniably one of the most recognizable models ever made by Lamborghini. The car listed here has only had five owners from new, with three of them being in Switzerland. The history is limpid and fully traceable, with invoices going back as far as 1997 documenting all of the work performed on the car over the past 26 years.

The current owner had the engine completely overhauled by Top Motors Salvioli in 2022, along with a repaint in striking Tahiti blues by Carrozzeria Meschiari in Italy. The cream and brown interior remains untouched, and the odometer shows only 46,400 km driven since built.

With only 105 examples of this Countach ever built, this particular example is an oppotrunity that any serious collector can’t afford to miss.
