Swiss watchmaker Oris recently unveiled the new iteration of its Divers Sixty-Five Chronograph, reflecting the brand’s penchant for mid-century-inspired designs. The new chronograph comes in a slimmed-down 40mm stainless steel case paired with a subtle monochromatic dial and your choice between a black leather strap made from sustainably sourced deer leather by Cervo Volante or a classic stainless steel metal bracelet.
The new diver draws its inspiration from Oris’s inaugural diver’s watch launched in 1965, and resonates with the excitement of an era when recreational diving was on the rise. Additional features include a larger, vintage-inspired crown, a two-counter chronograph layout with sweeping lugs, a beefed-up uni-directional rotating bezel and distinctive vintage chronograph pushers, and a mechanical movement with a 48-hour power reserve.
