Hong Kong Restaurant Week is back and we can’t wait to try out the city’s best restaurants.
We Mamas know a good deal when we see it. Which is why we’re always so excited when Hong Kong Restaurant Week comes up on our calendars! Hong Kong is a foodie heaven, but as locals, it can be easy to fall into the rhythm of our tried and tested venues. During this month-long dining extravaganza, you have no excuse not to get out and try something new (or visit your old favourites as well!). With over 200 of Hong Kong’s top restaurants on the list, you and your family will be spoilt for choice! This Autumn, Hong Kong Restaurant Week is running from Friday, 2 September to Sunday, 2 October and bringing specially designed menus from Hong Kong’s best restaurants at great prices.

Hong Kong Restaurant Week Sassy Mama Pick — Carbon
This industrial chic restaurant easily fits into any occasion; brunch, after-work drinks, a casual get-together or even a corporate meeting, just so versatile! The DiningCity Restaurant Week menu is available for dinner from Tuesday to Sunday, so you can expect us to be booking in a date night.
Menu Highlights: We’ve got our eye on the Tenderloin Tartare with wasabi, aged soy sauce and chips to start, followed by the Dukkhah Spiced Lamb Rack with Tzaziki sauce, oven-dried tomato and mint.
Hong Kong Restaurant Week Sassy Mama Pick — Honjo
If you’ve yet to indulge in the delightful Japanese flavours offered up at Honjo then you’re in for a treat. The DiningCity Restaurant Week menu is great value and we love the option to add on a wine pairing to both the lunch and dinner menus.
Menu Highlights: Four courses including a sharing platter of starters (think Edamame, Beef Tataki and Okinawa Fried Chicken) and sushi to start, followed by a choice of mains (the Pork Belly Skewers with honey ponzu and apple purée immediately caught our attention) and topped off with dessert
Hong Kong Restaurant Week Sassy Mama Pick — LPM
LPM is very spacious yet gives you ample privacy for a romantic evening with your other half. Possibly one of the best French restaurants in the city and the cocktail menu also clearly has a lot of thought put in. The special Hong Kong Restaurant Week menu includes a choice of starter, main, side and dessert.
Menu Highlights: Croquettes de Brandade (Salt Cod Croquettes with Oven Roasted Pepper Relish) and Escargot de Bourgogne (Snails with Garlic Butter) are options to start, while the Daurade Rouge Grillée au Charbon (Charcoal Grilled Red Bream for two) is our pick from the mains
