Produced for three years, this 1989 Lamborghini Countach is one of only 658 examples of the 25th Anniversary model built. It was completed in November 1988 and delivered new to the United States, where it was purchased by renowned musician and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame member Rod Stewart in 1990. The car remained in the same family after being relocated to Ohio in 1995 until the current seller acquired it in May 2022.
Finished in black with matching leather upholstery, this Lamborghini Countach has a 5.2-liter DOHC V12 engine mated to a five-speed manual transmission. Other notable features include:
- Scissor doors.
- A rear wing.
- A European-market front bumper.
- Multi-piece 15″ OZ Racing wheels.
- An Alpine CD stereo.
- Power-operated windows and seats.
- A gated shifter.
The car also features Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection.
Recent service work carried out under the current ownership includes the installation of a new brake master cylinder, a battery replacement, and rebuilding the brake calipers. Additionally, the vehicle comes with factory books, tools, a copy of the previous California title in Rod Stewart’s name, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Montana title.
